Collaboration

 Collaboration

Through a culture of collaboration and collaborative teaching, teacher share ideas and resources to ensure “their children” receive the best. Students are not viewed as students from a teacher’s class, but they are all the students of every teacher (Darnell, 2017)

  1. Collaboration is very important in education, for the teacher and for the student. Collaboration is working together as a team for the benefit of all involved. In teaching, the common goal is always to improve learner outcomes and problem solves together. Both teacher and student collaboration is sharing and working together in groups. Everyone learns more this way from the generation of ideas and information.

  2. As Darnell (2017) stated, when the teachers of an educational institution understand and appreciate that all students of the institution are their students, they have a vested interest to provide quality and meaningful instruction to those students. To achieve this, they value collaboration as this provides a vessel to achieve improved the outcomes of their students.

  3. Collaboration is a skill that is effective in any classroom both by the teacher and the students. Collaboration helps students like from each other and it aids in boosting one's morale. When students collaborate with each other they have a sense of feeling included.
